My grandmother gave me clothes before she died
Blouses
A skirt
A scarf
Wrappers

Now every time I open my closet
I see her
Remember her
How she used to move around her room
Slowly
Lifting a torch above her head
Telling me to move this box
Open that bag
Telling me the origin of each item of clothing
My aunty bought this one from America
A neighbour who used to sell fabrics gave her that one

Now her memories linger in my closet
In my senses
In my heart
