10 – The one that never got away #LoveStoryChallenge

They decided to take it a day at a time, and Kalanne was able to keep her fears of making a 2-2 and of her looming departure to Nigeria away from the perimeter of her thoughts. Sean made her genuinely happy. The men at the home noticed he had developed a spring in his step, and of course Paul had noticed him spending hours writing letters. But Sean kept her a secret, a secret which made his heart skip beats at odd times of the day. This was love. He woke up in the mornings and prayed for her, for them and for their future. He asked God to take away his vices and the hurdles that had made him fall time and time again so that he would not lose this beautiful woman. If she made a 2-1 and went on to do her LLM at Middlebrough or at any other university, that would be great. If she didn’t make the grade and had to return home to Nigeria, that would also be great; no matter what happened, he would not let her get away.
