//draft [untitled]

You have become accustomed to smallness
To the way all your things
fit inside one box
To the dull throbbing in your heart
when you walk into crowded places
To the cracking in your voice
when you speak

You have become one with the feeling
of insignificance
Now that you have been here
all these years
And it is the same thing
over and over again
And nothing that you will hear will ever sway you
will ever make you feel
bigger

You have become accustomed to smallness
to here, this and now
But inside of you
where you do not even know exists
There is a light
flickering
There is a voice
saying
"You are important
to Me."
