Warrior

What do you expect a survivor
of rape to do
in the aftermath of her destruction?

How is she
to appreciate the morning sun
when darkness has been made of her?

But she is called "survivor"
for a reason;
for she is warrior

And there is no artistic way
to end this poem;
for a warrior
knows no end
